Zelya (2018)

Zelya, a football player at school, lives with his family. He wins the gold medal in a school competition at the local level. His teacher, seeing his ability, wants him to become a brilliant football player, but his father believes it is a waste of time and wants him to focus on his studies because he is their last hope of escaping poverty. Shankar compels him to leave school due to the adversity and begin working to make money. Shankar assigns him the task of herding the animals. He is injured while moving cattle barefoot one day, and as a result of his parents' carelessness, he develops a gangrene infection and loses one of his legs.
