Deva, a guy who went insane while grazing camels in the desert of northwestern India, had an odd fate. For years, he was chained to the village's solitary tree. Deva's wife abandoned him, and his mother took care of him in the meanwhile. Until one day, the region was completely destroyed by a tremendous earthquake. Thousands died and millions were displaced as a result of the calamity, but Deva regained his mind, sanity, and life. Over the course of five years of filming, Natasha De Betak was devoted to Deva and his tale. Deva is at a fork in the road, deciding whether to live in the realm of the sane or the insane.
