Ranangan (2018)

Shyamrao Deshmukh is a political opportunist. Varad, my son, was previously married, but his first wife abandoned him after only a few months, and his second wife committed suicide on the wedding day. Shyamrao convinces him to marry Sanika, whose lover Avinash abandoned her after she became pregnant. Sanika sees Shyamrao's adopted kid Sholk at the house after her marriage to Varad, who looks like Avinash and shares his behaviours. Sholk, Sanika feels, is Avinash. But what was Shyamrao's motivation for marrying Varad to a pregnant Sanika?
