Shekhar seeks to woo Sanjana Sharma on the train, but learns she has given her heart to a former lover, Rohit, who is no longer alive. Both have some misadventures on the way to Simla, and upon arrival, Shekhar publicly expresses his love for her, well aware that this decision will bring him nothing but heartbreak.
